313: OHA and Harenews discuss Jamie Dimon’s Chart

leave a comment »

OHA:

Dimon is a Pisces sun with moon in Aries and Mars in Capricorn. Pisces is a mutable water sign so Dimon works more from intuition than his two competitors. He can sense things before they happen and understands how the average person will feel about a change. Dimon is more emotionally tuned in to the surroundings. That may be nice in a husband, but in a CEO? Venus in Taurus suggests his interest in banking involves deeper values of what wealth represents.

Harenews:  guess the inference is: that it helps to have a lot of cardinal signs in your chart if you want to lead a major bank. Out of the three bankers you profiled, Moynihan is the only attorney. Maybe having two planets in Libra explains why he took the JD route rather than MBA path. I have to disagree with you on the ultimate uber-banker. My money is on Dimon. With a Sun in Pisces and a moon in Aries that enalbles him to think both long and short term. Even though Capricorns are more prudent and cautious by nature, Capricorns spend way too much time dwelling on the past.

OHA:

You’re probably right on Jamie Dimon. For a banker, he’s charismatic. Plus his last name “Dimon” sounds a lot like “diamond.” What a winning name! Too bad we can’t all be born with auspicious names.

Dimon, a lifelong Democrat who was once rumored to be on Obama’s short list for treasury secretary, met privately with Romney on Tuesday before a fund-raiser hosted by Highbridge Capital, a JPMorgan-owned hedge fund, the New York Post reports.

According to the Post, Dimon, who was spotted “in a discreet one-on-one” discussion with Romney, cannot publicly endorse a candidate as he sits on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

April 4 2011: Neptune Entered Pisces

leave a comment »

Neptune enters the mystical waters Pisces on April 4th, 2011. The symbolism suggests we dive into the spiritual waters of the unified Self, the Oneness that underlies all of life. It’s like a symbolic Cosmic Web, shimmering gold and full of life. One strand sends out a ripple, and one small ripple influences the whole. Care we must for All beings upon the planet.

Neptune is comfortable in the sign of Pisces, so this symbolic partnership is valuable and can be easy to consciously flow with. Here we receive an opportunity to understand and remember what love without strings or conditions is all about. To listen to the ageless and timeless wisdom within the heart and use that wisdom in our daily life. Yet, this is the very thing people tend to shun because it is irrational, risky and vulnerable all because one can’t control it. This renders the person feeling out of their comfort zone. Neptune in Pisces invites all of us to genuinely feel the love that we are, that is available to us from the Cosmos and Life itself. To then seek to express that love in all that we do. As with any outer planet transit, the effects and changes are long-term and world-wide.

Neptune in Pisces Potential:
What are things to focus upon while Neptune transits through Pisces? Spirituality, water or waterways, art, photography, writing (poems, channeling etc.), music, fashion, oil, drugs and alcohol, private behind the scenes things, institutions are in the spotlight during this phase.

For about the affect of Neptune being in Pisces check out: http://celestialspace.wordpress.com/2011/04/03/neptune-enters-pisces-april-4th-2011/

313 March 13: Founder of Scientology: L Ron Hubbard

leave a comment »

Lafayette Ronald Hubbard, who was commonly known as L Ron Hubbard, was born on 13 March,1911, making him very much a Piscean in astrological terms. The zodiac sign Pisces is from 20 February to 21 March. Mr Hubbard  was an American pulp fiction author and religious leader who founded the Church of Scientology. After establishing a career as a writer, becoming best known for his science fiction and fantasy stories, he developed a self-help system called Dianetics which was first published in May 1950. He subsequently developed his ideas into a wide-ranging set of doctrines and rituals as part of a new religious movement that he called Scientology. His writings became the guiding texts for the Church of Scientology and a number of affiliated organizations that address such diverse topics as business administration, literacy and drug rehabilitation.

In astrology the zodiac sign of Pisces is a Water Sign and represented by two fish swimming in opposite directions. Could this be telling us about the character of L Ron Hubbard and saying that there were two sides to him and the confusion caused because of this?

According to the excellent book on astrology, The Compleat Astrologer,            by Derek and Julia Parker, the Piscean’s ideal career is an “Actor, dancer, writer or poet…Navy, nurse (and the medical profession generally), hypnotist, illusionist, photographer, priest.”

Hubbard was most successful and made most of his wealth as a writer. His Dianetics philosophy and Scientology religion  are both very much concerned with healing the minds, bodies and spirits of people who use them, Hubbard claimed to have had a Naval background in which he excelled (although this is disputed by his critics), he was known to have been skilled as a hypnotist, his life history he illustrated with photos, and as the founder of a religion he would fit into the “priest” role taken to the extreme.

Mitt Romney and a History of Saturn: Part I

Posted by on Thursday, June 30 2011

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is the current frontrunner in the Republican presidential nomination contest. How did he get to where he is, and what might his past say about his future? I propose a key planet to understanding Mitt Romney’s life is through the transits of Saturn. Saturn makes one full return every 29-30 years, a half return every 14-15 years, and a quarter return about every 7 years. In this first part, I will be solely concentrating on the Saturn transits to the position of his natal Saturn from his birth to the present day. In the second part, I will be showing other assorted Saturn transits in Mitt Romney’s life that speak to other aspects of his career, and hopefully will confirm, augment and complement the findings here.

Saturn 2 Leo 1947: “Miracle Baby”

Mitt Romney was born at 9:51 am on March 12th 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to George and Lenore Romney. George Romney was a rising star in the automotive industry at the time who would later go on into politics and even run for President. George Romney sensed something special about the child, as his wife Lenore had been told by doctors a few years before that she would not be able to have any more children, but she had faith. Up until the time of birth the health of the mother was in doubt, but mother and child ended up fine. In his proud announcement to his employees. George and Lenore would refer to their new son as their “miracle baby”. Romney was born with Saturn at 2 Leo, while it was anti-culminating on the IC. Saturn is the planet of ambition, struggle, responsibility and interestingly enough, father figures. The IC is a point of focus for the family and homelife. Saturn also rules the opposite end of the IC, the Midheaven, which is a point of focus for one’s career and reputation. As we will see, Mitt Romney’s career has been inextricably linked to his father and his family, something which Mitt Romney himself has always talked about.

312 March 12: Maddam Lichtenstein reads Romney’s Horoscope

.

Mitt Romney Mitt Romney was born on March 12, 1947 in Detroit Michigan at 9:51am according to the Political Astrology blog. This makes him a sun sign Pisces – emotional, romantic, somewhat intuitive and possibly soft, foggy and moody. But before we get too deep into his planets, lets look at his chart shape, modes and elements.

Chart Shape, Modes and Elements

Romney’s chart appears to have a seesaw shape where there are two distinct groups of planets on either side of the wheel. This shows a very dynamic personality that demands balance and resolution. The dynamicism plays out in a major opposition which in Romney’s case is Venus (love) in Aquarius (humanity and great causes) in the 10th house (career) opposite Pluto (great transformation) in Leo (on the public stage) in the 4th house (home and family). This opposition forms a backdrop of issues that are woven through the course of his life and will require him to deal with conflicting values, issues and choices.

312 March 12: Lynn Hayes looks at Romney

leave a comment »

Mitt Romney is gaining a bit of a reputation as a flip-flopper, but with  three planets in Pisces (plus Ceres) it’s his nature to be adaptable.  Pisces is  the most watery of the water planets: Cancer is an earthy water and Scorpio is a  fiery water, but Pisces is pure water in the sense that it tends to take the  shape of whatever container it finds itself in.  Pisces longs for peace and an  understanding that there is more to life than this material world.  There is a  strong sense of empathy and sensitivity in someone who has a strong Pisces  nature, but there is also a dislike of confrontation and a tendency toward  escapism that can lead him to take the easy path rather than the one that is  more true to his nature.

For more of Ms Hayes analysis of Gov Romney, check our her blog at: http://blog.beliefnet.com/astrologicalmusings/2007/10/a-look-at-mitt-romney.html/page/2/

Mars and Mercury fall in Pisces as well as his Sun, giving him a strong  Piscean nature.  Mercury in Pisces shows that his mental function is very watery  and intuitive, as well as being flexible and adaptable.  If something isn’t  working, he has no problem changing his mind to fit the current circumstance.   And Mars in Pisces is the peacemaker – the god of war in the sign of surrender.   Mars, as the planet that expresses our will and desires,  cannot find its full  expression in the sign that seeks to merge with the great beyond and this  further weakens Romney’s ability to assert himself strongly in any  situation.

313 March 13: Jamie Dimon

leave a comment »

James “Jamie” Dimon (born March 13, 1956) is the current CEO and chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co, and previously served as a Class A director of the Board of Directors of the New York Federal Reserve, a three year term which started January 2007.[1][2] Dimon was named to Time magazine‘s 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2011 lists of the world’s 100 most influential people. He was also named to Institutional Investor’s Best CEOs list in the All-America Executive Team Survey from 2008 through 2011.[3] He was named the top CEO of the Year in 2011.

Pisces born on March 13 are very dynamic individuals to say the least.  Think of them like sharks: they are always in motion.  They have the cyclothymic ability to function on very little sleep yet function very well.

They are a people with remarkable talents and abilities, and often risk losing sight of  their primary goals  because their skills pull  them in  variety of directions.

Those born on March 13  are said to  have a fiery nature.  The fact that Mr Dimon’s moon is in Aries – a fire sign-  only enhaces this aspect of his personality.  The March 13 fire manifests itself in the form of inspirational, far-reaching and at times perhaps some revolutionary ideas.

The number 12  plays a significant role both in the universe — think 12 months,  and 12 apostles,– and in those born on March 13ths lives, as does the number 7.

March 13 people generally have a large circle of friends,  they respect the emotional boundaries of  their friends, family members, and lovers and also demand that they do the same. They tend to keep some emotional distance from  lovers or mates.

March 13 people need to be emotionally engaged in their work. They have a sense of adventure and are not afraid to strike out in a different direction. Although their financial situation is often in flux, they always seem able to ride out the lean times.

March 13 men and women are not as committed to achieving goals as they are to achieving goals their own way. They have a strong sense of self and will not allow themselves to be micro-managed by inferiors. They are not overly concerned with obstacles or hurdles only answers and solutions.

On a side note, Albert Einstein. 14 March 187918 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the  theory of general relativity, effecting a revolution in physics.

Kurt Cobain: When rock becomes religion our gods are rendered mortal

by Charles Aaron

December 1994

If growing up as a Pisces on bended knees in the church of punk rock taught
me anything, it was never to trust anything or anyone, even myself, particularly
if there was money or love or God involved, never trust a melody because
melodies sell people things they don’t need, always place blame and always
accept it, and remember that, in the words of punk forefather Graham Greene, “We
are all of us resigned to death: It’s life we aren’t resigned to.”

In other words, punk rock kept me from wanting to kill myself as a dopey kid,
but left me with very little to live for as a dopey adult, except the laughter
of survival or some such. The happiest people are the best liars. Stunted punk
ideas like that still scurry from the right side of my brain to the left. And I
say the “church” of punk rock because Johnny Rotten was a tortured Catholic, and
I was a tortured Baptist, and my punk-rock dream come true wasn’t some quaint
DIY vision of hearing “real” rock’n’roll again. It was about rescuing Jesus from
the repressive lying assholes and convincing Him to scream “Fuck off and die” at
everything and everyone I hated. Punk rock was my substitute for spiritual
ritual, my excuse for living. And it inevitably had to fail.

Kurt Cobain, born too late in a trailer park in Aberdeen, Washington, felt
cheated that he didn’t even get his chance to fail. He missed punk proper,
missed the black-joke blubbering of hardcore, missed the Beatles AND the Knack,
for that matter. Instead his parents divorced, his father beat the shit out of
him, and he dropped out of high school. But once he got his band together (Dave
Grohl on drums instead of those other guys), he gave us Nevermind, its title a
blunted response, either intentionally or unintentionally, to the Sex Pistols’
Never Mind The Bollocks. And more than a decade after the fact, Nirvana
perfectly expressed how shitty and sad and funny-pathetic millions of so-called
normal kids now felt, instead of just speaking to a bunch of “weirdos” and
“fags”. With an album produced so that it blared comfortably next to Guns N’
Roses on the radio, and because of the clever video for “Smells Like Teen
Spirit”, and because Kurt Cobain was a great song- writer, Nirvana became a No.
1 punk band. Fairly legitimately, no big swindle.

But unlike other insecure, long-suffering punk grunts, I felt more
disoriented than validated or vindicated. As time went on, questions nagged.
What does an invigorating postmortem on punk offer anyone in the ’90s? Aren’t
Nirvana fans just gonna use Cobain, a deeply conflicted dweeb with serious
emotional and physical problems, as some kind of spiritual martyr? Aren’t we
going to end up gawking at the same lame suicidal striptease that Sid Vicious
and Darby Crash put us through? Still, I got fed up with indie types bitching
about the band, calling them the postpunk Police, not acknowledging their
talent. I guess I wanted to stupidly give myself over to punk one more time.

The Astrology of America’s Top Bankers

Posted on October 6, 2011 by ohioastrology

Controlling the top banks in the US means having a hand in the fate of the US economy. To me, that means we should get to know the men that control the banks. The top three banks, in order, currently are:

  1. Bank of America – Brian Moynihan, CEO
  2. JP Morgan Chase – Jamie Dimon, CEO
  3. Citigroup – Vikram Pandit, CEO

First let’s take a look at one of the greatest financiers in US history, J. P. Morgan.
