March 11, 2011 Uranus Entrance into Aries Causes Japan Earthquake
Uranus, the planet most often associated with earthquakes, was in Pisces at the time of the quake, which struck 80 miles offshore of Japan at 05:46 GMT Friday. And Uranus will move into impactful Aries at 4:49 p.m. PST today, further exacerbating the situation.
What we have here is Uranus, the planet of shocks and surprises, on the move toward Aries but still in watery Pisces at the time of the quake. Pisces is the sign of the Oceans, so this transit further helps to explain the quake’s resulting tsunami, which killed at least 1,000 people according to early estimates.
Master Astrologer Rick Levine says it’s important to note that Uranus stays in each sign for seven years, so it can have a significant effect when it changes signs.
“Today, March 11, Uranus zaps its way into Aries, striking like lighting,” Levine said. “Also, Mercury the messenger conjoined Uranus on Wednesday and then blasted into Aries. These catalytic changes that precipitated an 8.9 earthquake, over 20 aftershocks of 5.5 or higher, and a tsunami are all symptoms of the tensions that are being released as Uranus, the quantum planet, surprises us with unexpected events.”
We here at DH are now expecting the unexpected, so stay tuned for updates as we keep an eye on Uranus moving into Aries and the Super Moon on March 19.
